Greetings,
My name is Satya. A while back, I left New York City and followed a quiet calling that led me deep into the heart of Central America. I had spent years in a culture that moved fast, demanded more, and gave little space for rest or softness. I chose to step away—not to escape, but to remember.
As I traveled through Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, and beyond, I began to unravel what it meant to truly live. In Costa Rica, I found healing in nature, barefoot walks, meditation under the stars, and a unique perspective of life that aligned with my spirit. I learned that true luxury isn’t in the material—it’s in the peace we cultivate, the rest we reclaim, and the wholeness we embody.
In that space of restoration, Black Women Healing Retreats was born.
What began as my personal journey became a vision: a space for Black women to return to themselves. To feel safe in their bodies. To connect with nature. To release the weight of systems that were never built for us. To rest, to rise, and to reclaim a healthy lifestyle as a birthright.
These retreats aren’t just about travel—they are a soft revolution. A return to ancestral wisdom. A sanctuary for feminine energy, embodiment, and radical self-care.
Together, women gather in sacred sisterhood and meaningful solitude. You’ll meditate, prioritize your mental health, explore waterfalls, swim in the Caribbean sea, and immerse yourselves in healing rituals. Every retreat is an invitation to come home to yourself.
